Solutions for studies in the field of Entomology
Studies are carried out using the control strategies employed in integrated pest management in a harmonious way, integrating chemical, biological and cultural control tactics. Thus, the integration of control strategies in pest management becomes important from the point of view of managing the resistance of insecticides and transgenic plants, aiming at the sustainability of agricultural systems.
Phytus Entomology is also concerned with determining the influences of cultural management on the dynamics of pests in different cultures, such as crop rotation, cover crops, sowing times, among others. Such strategies are fundamental within an Integrated Management program.
